Dan just gave me a Bendix Stromberg Model WW Carb off of the 273 that he pulled out of his 65 Belvidere. How does it compare to a BBD in terms of performance and economy? Would it be a good choice to swap into one of my cars?

Yep, the WW is a good carb design. If the carb's in basically sound shape, go thru it with a kit and run it. See here, here, and here.

Cool, I'll hang on to it. It was on the 273 in my brother in laws Belvidere and it ran fine just it just did not have enough power for him in that big car.
