I used a Stud for the Removable timing cover So as to not drain the coolant every time I take this bolt out.

Wayne, If I glass Beaded the header I would bo going against the "ruster theme"

Tom,

The alt is from a 93-up Magnum v-8 / v-6 truck..

I worked fine on the engine stand.

No hooup issues yet as I did cut the wiring from the donor vehicle - This made it easy I also used a 72- up Voltage regulator with it.

Oh yeah, forgot about the adj timing gear. Easy to reset it to 100. Don't believe those cam cards.

Got the old engine pulled (remember it ran a whopping 19.13 @ 58 MPH!)

and the new powerplant is there - timing dialed in - new Magnecor Wires, New summit crossflow rad too.

Also topped off the tranny fluid and also got the tranny kinda dilaed in at least in my driveway with the wheels in the air.

Well I made a otal of 5 runs Down the track, Got the carb and Tranny dialed in, Learned how to do a burnout with a manual valvebody and a Line lock And the Best run of 5 was 13.76 @ 98.30. Had A few Chassis Wiring and Battery problems here and there but nothing major. Cant wait for next week!

I hope to get the cam a bit more dialed in this week.

Here are some pics and videos from the day.

Both the incar and grandstand footage are of the same run.. Also the time slip posted is of the same run too.

From run 5 - (Best One)

Thanks Guys.

Yeah It's a wonder that the trans works :-) I have never been inside a 904 with the intent to re-assemble it. Thanks for that great Valve body Tom!
