this will also be the last slant meet ever @ wildcat
Jack Poehler used to make deals with Ed for a BBQ up there for the SSCOA annually. Is Ed and Jack not going to be doing their stick
anymore either?!?!?

So Midi, is this meet open to anyone, or for just for the forum group? I have a couple of Mopar guys in my neck of the woods that would probably like to come if I could invite them?

I will be there fo sho! As mentioned we are going to try and convoy up (so I can show D.I. the "fast" way to get to wildcat ) hmm...

D.I. : 76 Duster w/Hyperpack = Fast
THOR : 65 Dart w/2300 Holley = Fast, but not as fast as D.I. ... yet....
SL6 BOB : 72 Valiant (Should have BBD on there by then) = Slowest, but still not slow..

We should get there pretty quick!

Look forward to comin up! If there is ANY chance you can be there, GET THERE!

Bobby is going to snag some tail lights for me while he's there. I'll be in the air heading back to Chicago.
Josh, if you head down, could you drop the fuel cell with Bobby for transport?

Wish I could make it! Have fun folks! :D

CRAP! Crap crap crap. Looks like I won't be able to make it. :x

I have got too much legal work to do, and my brother is coming down for more work on his van, AND there is big construction going on on I-5 between me and Wildcat that is supposed to be causing big delays on the weekends. I just don't think I will be able to break free to get down there. Image

Definitely no bananas for me. Image

Sorry Neil, I did want to go, but it looks like I just won't be able to make it. Hope everyone has a good time though. Eat some burgers and sip some brew for me! Image Image

Since Ceej isn't going to make it, (but Bobby is running the Mid-Valley Parts Express Delivery Service...From Wildcat to Halsey...),
maybe Fopar should show up so he can smoke a cigarette and make fun of the young'un's trying to snag parts...LOL...

It's be like Clatskanie all over again, but without the snow and Ceej!!!

i would love it if Fopar and his son made it up.

i wish a lot of people could make it up and save a bunch of nice stuff from the crusher. infact i wish i had a few guys that would work for parts to help me save this stuff! 3/4 of the A bodys are being smashed, B bodys, almost every truck & van, almost the entire fury (c bodys ) & the big Chrysler row is done for. I'm pulling a ton of $#!+ for my self that i will stash away. and to take the place of the parts cars the projects will be made into parts cars. and this does not even scratch the surface of the 500+ cars going to china as scrap metal.

i'm grab'n a bunch of beer and sodas and wildcat is grill'n up the food!
but anyone is welcome to bring food, beers and ect. i'm kinda thinking pot luck with mopars and cheep beer.

so here are the rules and fine print

any car marked with a yellow or orange S is going to be scrapped those are Fair game. a car not marked with an S has to be ran by either me or ed before anyone pulls anything, cause me might have those parts off or on an S car.

no spilling of any fluids, we will provide drain pans.

please don't cut or damage any wire harness or loom.

do not break any glass, if you need glass removed i will help
i can pull A body wind sheilds in less than 5 mins

please bring your own tools.

this is a U PULL IT

i am not checking on parts for anyone

and please do not break any other parts to get to your parts.
there will be people ( me,ed,randy and ect.) to show you how to pull your parts properly.

thank you and i hope to see everyone there

I just corrected the bit about the wiring harnesses. Make sure you capture that update. I'm sure Neil didn't want people to cut the harnesses...
