OK, folks, this is coming up fast, but the Bruner clan really wants to put this on. We have a new race at the Knoxville track - JUNE 19-20 - TWO DAY RACE.

They have confirmed with the track that they can do races on both Saturday and Sunday, so it is now officially on the Eastern schedule. Gary and Meril are heating up the phone lines to get good turnouts on this weekend. Looks like most of the Georgia and Tennessee boyz are coming, as well as some from N. Carolina and Virginia.

This will be great for some of those who came to Hagerstown and were all wet for 2 days and still want to Slant 6 race before Wilkesboro on July 17 or Hagerstown rain dates 7/31-8/1.

Please post here if you can come!

Thanks,

Lou

Bruners are pulling a switch on the dates, it looks like, due to Father's Day. I will post the revised date as soon as I talk to them.

Thanks,

Gary Bruner was sure about the July 2-3 date. I suggest you call him if you want to discuss details.

Hopefully there'll be a good turnout!

Lou

Not looking good for me either. :(

If I have enough money for travel on that weekend, I will be going to OH to watch my daughter play in a softball tourney.

I hope you all have a great time. I had plans for the 4th already with Christine's family, so I'm up in Massachusetts...

Ron P, I hope Judy's Mom is feeling better. Best to take care of her.

I hope someone can take some pictures and do a little writeup, or at least take notes and get the ladder with times. That would be great.

Slant on,

Lou

8 racers tonight. Finals were Lucas Bruner vs Norm Foster .... Lucas came out on top as Norms car didnt run the number. Lots of red lights tonight. Will report back tomorrow late or Sunday. Track opens tomorrow at 4pm and racing starts at 7.

Inquiring minds want to know... :D

What were some of the numbers people were running?

What did the Quail Duster run?

What were the pairings?

I can't access photos on websites over here, but I can see them as email attachments... Can anyone "hook a brother up" with some photos?
