 Post subject: smoke on highway?

I have another slant issue . when i'm accelerating onto the high way my vehicle seems to put out some smoke.not running bad or anything just concerned. whats causing this smoke??? only when heavy accelerating with a load,not at idle

I'm assuming the smoke is blue/blue white.

Sounds like rings.

Have you done a compression check yet?

im going to say black smoke it only happens on the highway when accel. no im more around haverhill

Yes... black smoke indicates an over-rich condition.

Warm up the engine, then pull the lid off the aircleaner. Is the choke plate fully vertical (open)?
