Anyone interested in Killer Bees point Slant race at Fontana in 2011 other than Mark & myself? I have a contact & will try to setup a race if there is enough interest. Based on the 2010 schedule I would try for March or May. This will also depend if there will there will be Mopars at the Strip in March (haven't heard yet). Not looking for a commitment at this time just a head count of interested actual racers. I know there are more than two of us in So-Cal interested in Slant 6 racing. Thanks.

I would probably make this one as i have family down there, but you will need support from other slanters near you. Nevada ,Arizona guys may make that trip. Car counts so far this year are very weak, and this is not limited to sl.6 cars ,overall car counts are down at all races i have attended this year.

I'm hoping there might be a dozen from So-Cal and a couple from Arizona (Rick & ?) and Nevada (Romeo & ?). That way it wouldn't put a burden on the Nor Cal guys. Hopefully I can have something to report by Eureka.

I'm not familiar with your structure but do run Fontana (Antique Nat's). While I likely don't fit a class I'd enjoy coming out and running for the hell of it.

Any vehicle powered by a Slant 6 is what we are looking for. This would be slant against slant dial your own time bracket type racing. Check out the Killer Bees website www.killerbeesracing.com for an idea of what is being run. Most are two or four barrel with some exotics. I'm currently running a completely stock one barrel while I gather parts for a new engine, trying to get some seat time. 40 years is a long time between races. I'll keep this thread up to date as we get respones (hopefully).

Cool, I'd be bringing a "twofer", my HA/GR towed with my Toad wagon.

5 isn't going to cut it. There have to be more sixers interested in a play day at the track.

Hoping for a dozen from So-Cal and a few more from Nor-Cal, Arizona & Nevada. Didn't want to have to depend on the rest of the state to get a decent field.
As far as a car being done, it needs to pass NHRA tech & be able to get to the end of the track a few times. I have found that driver error is more of a problem than a non-finished car.
