We need top update the killer bee website.....the changes are not made, I do try and keep it all straight, but its hard to tell people the dates....easier to have them go to the site.

Alan;
On the race sponsor page you need to update the year from 2009 to 2010.

I just spoke with Jim at the Champion Raceway and they show the Slant 6 race on August 7th! :shock: Does anybody know for sure about the date for this? :?

Man, luckily I didn't book my stay...but either date is fine by me (I have 3 projects in Medford, so I can say it's a business trip!!! :lol: ....)

Can someone get that cemented, we only have a couple weeks before go time.

Can't do Medford & Eureka from So-Cal in the same month. Bathroom remodel/fix is taking funds and time planned for car. Since I am sponsoring the Eureka race that is where I am going. Will be working the Laysons booth at the Nats Aug 13, 14, 15.

I am not passing the buck here but Wayne made the arrangements with Jim and supplied that as the date. We turned down the gasser nationals becouse it was a one day race. If they show it as 8 /7 and 8 i guess we are stuck with that date as they are apparently not running on the 14 /15. I will talk to wayne .

This is not the scheduled date.

I'll be at Woodburn for the Oldies but Goodies. They've already agreed to let us run our own program there on the 7th and 8th.

A little clarification,Jim manager of Championj raceway supplied wayne with several dates of our choosing.We chose 8/14and 15 and Wayne notified Jim and we posted it as the schedules date. Jim never responded and we made the mistake of assuming it was correct. At this point Wayne is recommending that we cancel the Medford race as the turnout was going to be weak at best, and run two point races at Samoa 8/28 and 8/29. The track management at Samoa is in agreement with this and Samoa will probably be our highest car count this year. Please feel free to make your opinions known so we can make a decision which best accomodates the majority of the members.

As far as I am concerned the 2 day at Samoa is ok. I will be there for the weekend anyway and I have already desided not to go to Medford because of the Woodburn Hot Rod Nationals set for Aug 7 & 8. :D
