Also, does anyone know the agenda for the weekend?? Is it time trials on sat and racing on sunday or what?? It's looking like an awful lot of money to Kevin and I also. Between the racing fees, hotel or camping fees, tow bar rental, gas, and everything else.. this is looking to be quite an expensive trip. Would need to know what the agenda for the weekend was. Kinda saddens me that we might not be able to attend. Kevin finally got his car going good and was so looking forward to actually racing with all of you for the first time.. Please let us know answers to the above questions.. Thanks..

Debbie

After posting that last msg with the the questions I had, I had a chat with Kevin. Guess this is something we are gonna have to get use to if he wants to race. Will be even more when we get my car done. So, we're coming. One way or another we will make it work. Will prolly bring the tent and camp at the race track.. Can we arrive friday night and sleep there that night?? Anyhow, cross your fingers that Kev's car holds up and he gets to really do some racing with you all :) Thanks for your help on the questions...

Debbie

D-

At the last race Dave said he'd stake out some places and arrive on Friday night. So if you showed Friday I'd link up with him(we usually have the pit area toward the fence to the far left after passing the staging lanes). It's well worth the trip, those of us who are more local will arrive Saturday morning. Basic saturday and sunday schedule roughly follows:
Get to track, dump stuff in spot at pit. Warm up and drive to pit for tech inspection, wait and do time trial in AM (we try to get 2, sometimes we get lucky and can get 3 depending on the other classes). After time trials, we get worked into the schedule for our runs, last year our 'ladder' was run about the end of the day... Have not run an 'inliners' on Sunday at Woodburn, but I think it almost is the same venue (and maybe someone will show up with an ersatz brand to play against).

Hopefully you will make it, I had last talked to Kevin back in 2000-ish at a SSCOA meet in Seattle, so about 10 years later it will be neat to "catch up"...(and meet you as well...)

Look for the Rebel flag flying above Dave's camp! :D

The rest of us won't be far from it!

It looks like I'll be working late on Friday, so will drive up to the track early Saturday morning and camp out Saturday night! :D
