We just talked with Charles' wife, Jenny; Charles was admitted to Pitt Memorial Hospital yesterday (July 20th.) with Diverticulitis and will remain in there for a few more days. His doctor wants him to have surgery but he needs to wait until he recovers from this attack. Surgery is likely to be done within a month. We will keep you updated. Please keep them in your prayers.

Youch! Is there an address you can send via PM, even though I don't know him personally, I'd pick up a 'get well' card and send it to him or if someone wants to be the 'focal point' I'd send them the card to give to him....


If not, Please Get Well!!!!

Many of us know that Charles Myers is the current SL6 record holder and just ran 9.93 in his "Bad Boyz" Arrow at the Hamilton Race.

It would really be great if people would send him some good cheer.

Charles and me have raced each other many times and he is a true winner. If Charles could have made Clay City we might have seen something faster than 9.93. So i am going to give you his adress so everybody can send him a get well card. Thanks Charles for all that you have done for me. Possum Parker

Charles is at home and doing better. I think he is going to go ahead with the surgery pretty soon.
