Hey all,

I spoke with Mike J last night and we will have the back room at Pizza Hut this Friday eve starting at 6:30 PM. I will probably get there earlier, and Neal and I will be staying across the street at the Western Inn (pool in front).

Track opens at noon Saturday, and Mike said we should get there around that time or earlier to get good pit spots. He will grab what he can on the early side.

Looking forward to it!!!

Lou

Good luck all!

Lou, it was really good to hang with you and Chris for a little while anyway. Caroline and I had a swell time. :D

I am getting ready for the Western Swing, Kearney and Samoa. This will be a two week trip for me. I got the air conditioner fixed and loaded 84 cans of Diet Pepsi into the Blazer along with 4 bags of pretzels. Guzzi is frantically working to get his car ready for Samoa. Should be a great time, I will try to be at the Pizza Hut by 6:30 on Friday, we barely made it last year. Good luck to all of you making this long trip.

Good to hear Seymour. Sorry we can't caravan from Minneapolis again. Neal is picking me up at Des Moines airport late morning tomorrow and we'll see you for PIZZA tomorrow eve.

Happy travels!

Lou

Will miss meeting you at the race, Rob, but damn glad you are back - take time and settle in.

BTW, it's going to be HOT at the track this weekend. No rain in the forecast but mid to high 90s which is hot here.

Great times in Kearney. Mike Jeffrey put out Glen Terry in the finals today. 8 cars made eliminations, with a few extra spectators on hand. Representatives from: MN, IA, CA, VA, KS, and NE.

2nd race tomorrow. Ryan P should be here with his 10 sec turbo Valiant.

The salad bar at "Steak USA" had the best tomatoes, watermelon, and ribs we have ever tasted (Seymour included). Pizza Hut was great Friday night too.

More report to come...

Lou
