Hey T are you racing that weekend? Yes they have a street legal Friday but thats not a test and tune.No track prep for car with slicks so for Marc record attempt probably not much help. However for seat time and maybe jetting and such cant hurt.

Add the "Swingin' Six" and "Waynes' World" to the list...Can't wait to see the ocean again... hope to make a 12 second pass with my little 170 (On Gas Only) BEE THERE...
This event looks like it will bee the biggest slant6 race of the year. The weekend is the only one-time "Oldies But Goodies" type race of the year at Samoa. Lots of Nostalgia cars coming....We will again have our own pit area and racing class...Lets support this event and dont' forget the fantastic BBQ at Howard Racing Headquarters. BEE THERE...

I will be there on Sun for sure...just not with my car...may bring Rhonda's Valiant...maybe....I am bringing the head off of mine to Doc that weekend for some revision work....

We have a Wedding to attend on Sat just south of Eureka...may stop by HOWARD'S RACING BBQ PIT and fixin's......on Sat.

Sorry guys. Can't make it to Samoa. Father passed away a few days ago and heading to Oregon for services plus will be busy with his trust. I hope to be at Sacramento though. Be safe.

Also going to have to back out. Finances took a hit. Travel expenses no longer fit in the buget. Maybe Sacto in Sept.

Sorry we are having a couple people not be able to attend.I wishe you guys luck in getting to Sac, or the season ender in Redding.

Everything is loaded up, took the truck around the block to park back in front of the house, and the trailer brake controller is dead.

Stand by. We may be parked.

Edit: Fixed. Sort of. Unplugged the controller to test voltage, plugged it back in, and it started working. I'll be driving down the hills slowly until I have faith it will keep working.
We will replace the unit when I get back. Just not worth not knowing what's up with it.

I had a long drive home, and am wiped out from the long weekend.....OK, I am wiped out, but the drive was only 3 1/2 miles.LOL
Anyone wondering who won the slant 6 points race? I didnt have a camera, so no pics from me.......but we had a blast hosting the little BBQ, as always, we had some great times on and off the track. My 62 ran its fastest pass so far. 12.94 @ 101.25 MPH!! all moter all the time.More later....LOL
