I think we should maybe try to do a Slant 6 race at this event next year?

I met a guy on I90 this summer in a '74 Dart when I was driving in my '64 Dart late a night. Richard (something?), lives right near there, and I bet there are a bunch more. He said he was working on a Volvo 142 or similar with a Slant 6. My wife's family lives 40 min from there.

Who else is around this area and would race in a Slant 6 class there?

Lou

hi, this was a great show and a very clean area vs the mopar show at epping nh this year. the pit area is all paved ,which cuts down on the dust. lots of racing and tons of cars in the show and shine field. the swap area/for sale isn't so big. this should really be a 2 day event . i was running to look at the cars and parts for sale and still listen for my dot class to race in . one thing i learned  on my first run ,was do not lift at the timing billboards and lights at this track. they are at the 1000 ft mark. the guy in the return road timing ticket booth saw me lift and said don't feel bad john force did it once in the past. i won't make that mistake there ever again. pics to come. ronnie

Sounds great, Ronnie. Any other Slant Sixers there? Any idea if a Slant 6 race would be desirable or possible at that event in the future??

Cheers,

Lou
