Fellow Slanters,

Time has come again for the Much Storied Clay City, KY Slant 6 race. Friday evening t'n't (8th), Slant 6 points race on Saturday (9th), bracket racing Sunday (10th).

This is an all-Mopar show with lots of cool iron from many eras. It's a nice down-home 1/4 mile track that is quite fast, especially this time of year with the cooler temps.

Several of us will be camping at the track, and there are many hotels in Winchester, off exit 96 of I64, about 30 min from the track.

CAN'T WAIT!!!!! DadTruck and I will be there! Bringing a couple of good ole boys from Morgan County. Plan on leaving Friday mid morning - doing a bit of the Bourbon Trail and spending the evening with family and friends in Danville, KY. Look for us bright and early on Saturday morning. Looking forward to meeting many of you. If Zilla is coming please let me know - I need to order a Rush sticker to place on his bumper while he isn't looking!

Sorry about that...

Been a little busy with other things lately. My month off didn't exactly go as I had intended.

I haven't logged on in a month, so I'm playing some catch up. I will do my best to be at the race as a spectator and do whatever I can to help organize things. Still no car to race.

Angie has to fly back to Baltimore next week to pick up my car at the port. They just emailed to let me know that it has cleared customs and is ready for pick up. They lost the keys though! (just par for the course lately... )

As her travel plans get firmed up over the weekend I will know more about being at the race. Sorry I dropped the ball on being the POC / Coordinator. If someone else hasn't contacted the track yet I will.

I'll start checking in daily again and will post any updates.
