Lou, or any body going south, you can take the 95 south to Needles then pick up 40 west and meet 15 at Barstow. It may be a little ferther but won't be bumper to bumper.......

Deb and I have ordered the bracelets. We got the $60 ones, but there are some listed for $75 for the "Slant 6" participants. Which ones are the more correct, or does it matter?

$75 entry fee is if you are racing your car.

Also take note that the new owners of Chrysler Corp. Is no longer alowing the Painter family the use of "MOPAR" and will have a name change to M.A.T.S. or moparty at the strip. I guess that when they yanked the rug out from under them and took away the 2 dealerships that they had for 50 years wasn't bad enough. I understand that Mopar collectors guide is going through the same thing. Excuse my rant but to me if I were in business I would want my name out in as many places as possible. Again excuse me for the rant.....

I have a saying I use at work on quite a regular basis. "Common sense shall not stand in the way of allowing us to do something stupid!" I believe this falls into that category.

If I were Chrysler I wouldn't want my name associated with the Collectors Guide either.

I think that's the only magazine I ever refused a free subscription renewal to, and I was a subscriber for years.

My name change would be H.A.T.S.
