 Post subject: Heater core delete

Am i able to just cap the lines coming from the water pump to the heater core?...would that affect anything?

Blocking off can be done, but an easer way would be to loop from outlet to inlet at water pump with a short length of hose.

F/M/J-bodies (and possibly others) with A/C, came equipped with a shut-off valve on the hose going into the heater element, that redirected the hot water back into the other hose.
