hey i got a really cheap 8 inch f*** rearend that i want to put in my 1965 barracuda. it had a 7 1/4 in it so i took that out and now the shakles are to small for the ford to fit right so do i need to get new shakles or modify the ones i have, or get ford ones or bigger mopar ones or what???

Do you mean the U-bolts? If so, then I think the Ford 8" takes 3" U-bolts and you'll have to buy new ones. Any spring shop will have them, or sometimes PepBoys or other parts stores. They should probably be replaced anyway...

If you mean the plates that go under the spring you can either get new ones or get them from a car with an 8 3/4
