This thing is a tank. I don't need a tank! I don't want to race Lou in a tank while he pulls away on his bicycle. Yes it is cool, but I don't need it. I could barely get it off the trailer downhill into my garage, pulling it with my crane. My dad's 4WD truck had it's rear wheels off the ground 8" when it left the trailer. It is a Beast. I will be glad to take some pictures for old times sake, but by next Saturday I hope to have $$$ in my hand and the tank missing from my garage. If you want an autographed picture of me beside the Tug, it will be $10 and all proceeds will go to the Mason Dixon race!!

Hmmmm....something else, too....maybe. When you get to a point that you can look it over fairly well, I might be interested in the trans-mounted park brake assembly. Hopefully, it will mount onto a 904 without too much effort.

The shifter in the tug looks like some I have seen in some 60"s trucks or something, can't remember. But it had a very simple cable set up. here it is.



Large bolt held the bracket to the large factory tab on the side of the tranny. Clevis went to the shift lever. The yellow bracket was an arm to hold the kick down lever back in the correct position. Would this likely work on a 904??

I plan to hold on to the shifter for now.

Rick.....you misunderstood my request. I'm interested in the park brake lever, and possibly the trans(or diff)-mounted park brake assembly. Not the shifter.
I have a '23 T-bucket project stashed, and Iowa law requires a non-hydraulic parking brake for inspection and licensing. If I'm not mistaken, those tugs have a trans or diff mounted, drum setup that might be adaptable.
