Just a quick one...I just read Lou's post stating that the re-splined axles sit
3/8" further out than stock one's. Does this affect the end-play adjustment
for the bearings? I recently put a set of BB mosers in my '67 Valiant and
couldn't seem to get much adjustment.

Nope, the axles are longer at the end by the hub, outside the bearing/housing, so that shouldn't affect adjustment at all. Maybe your adjuster is stripped, or there's a problem with the bearing receiver in the housing end?
