While putting the final touches on my super 6 set up yesterday I recalled a thread about PCV valves where SSD mentioned a plastic one that fits into the rear breather cap for early model years.

I saw that my cap had a metal elbow, pulled it and sure enough, PCV valve in the cap.
Rattled it up and down...seems ok?

So I will delete the one that someone had installed downstream.

Sure will make the hook-up to the carb port a lot cleaner.

My limited knowledge tells me performance should not have been affected by having 2 valves.

What say ye?

Probably no big deal, but it's best to have just one. Clean it with spray carb cleaner.
