Well...I got her tightened up and loaded on the trailer..... Only to discover a pinhole leak on the TOP of the radiator.... While tying the car down I noticed a small amount of water dripping...I was internally saying "OH CRAP"...briefly thought abought changing the name of the caf to "GREMLIN" or "FERBIE"....

But elected not to do so.... So for now it will remain "SIX SHOOTER".... iT HAS BEEN A HELL OF A WEEK...

Sorry we could not make it there tonight to Samoa Cookhouse,,,would have loved to have made it....Awesome Meals.....

So now out to the car and some JB WELD....

See everyone tomorrow!!!!!!!
(FINGERS CROSSED FOR A GOOD DAY FOR RACING AND THE CAR PREFORMS)

PS - THANK YOU MUCH "DOC" FOR YOUR HELP!!!!! Could not have done it without your help!

Terry

According to Guzzi Mark Andrew Howard won the 18 car points race on Saturday. Mark set new A/G records at 11.43 and 115.5MPH and actually went 11.449 at B/G weight but couldn't quite back it up. CJ put his car in the 14s for the first time. Air was excellent but traction not so good. Mark didn't know who won the sportsman race today but he didn't think it was a slant 6 car. I am sure someone who was actually there will post more details when they can. Kudos to Andrew and Mark!

It seemed as if the right lane just not allow folks to "HOOK UP" ... I saw quite a few wiggles from the back...

Yep, 18 cars.....Great friends and good times. We had a fun awards dinner at Samoa cookhouse, I counted 25 people showed up.
Saturdays racing was good.My car was not running the numbers it should, but it was really consistant. My first round I raced Mark from Redding. My second round was against Dana from the Paradise area.My 3rd round was against my sister in law  , Kinda felt bad about wanting to win her.......but its racing....her and I were ok w/ whoever won.I then had a bye run.....then met the famous Fopar in the final.Richard cut his worst light of the day I think, I cut my best.....and I won.
Then we had the big BBQ here at my house, lots of food....drinks, and good friends.I was told 32 people were here, I am glad it has been the tradition from the start to have this BBQ, we have fun doing it, and its nice to give back to a team that I am a part of.
I need to take a second, and say something I learned of on Saturday. The Killer Bees lost a member of our team in April,Randy Judge.I really liked Randy, and his family were really great to host a few BBQs at there home in Redding when we raced there the last couple of years.Race in Peace Randy.....you are missed.

Congrats on the win Andrew!! :D

That 50 point race puts you right up there with the leaders!

Fopar's runner-up may edge him into the #2 slot behind PJ unless CJ and Wendy made it up to three rounds...

I can't wait for the full run-down.

I saw Terry's post showing his bent valve. Ouch! :(

I think I will mount that VALVE on my dash to use as a mounting hook for my helmet. Might work as a good reminder. Might as well and make use of it.

Had a great time either way. So thankful for the folks that assisted... Glad I have met this group of people.

Thanks

Terry

Just got home. Eleven points for me thank you!

Mike had a bunch of fun on the way home. Just into Oregon on 101, his 7-1/4" Rear started making ominous noises. He nursed it back to the South Valley before pealing off at Creswell for fuel. We're waiting to hear from him as to how the remainder of his trip went.

The Hooptie jumped into the 14's with a tire squealing 14.95 second blast down the strip. I couldn't hook up, which is saying a lot. The track was cold, so there was little to be done about it.

Went to the third round in sportsman yesterday. I'm told my margin of victory over Glenn Terry in the second round was 2/10,000ths!

PJ took me out in the third round. I was all Skeered and stuff! .006 red light. Close, but just a blink early!

Very cool! 8)

Thanks Fopar! I'll throw together another "Snagglepuss" update for the "Championship" thread and post a link here.

Hey Ceej,

That's another 11 points! Every little bit helps. You're in third place just ahead of Mike Jeffrey now.

Both of the "Leading Ladies" got shut out in the first round!

That puts Richard in the #2 seat with 83 points.

Big congrats to Andrew. Great to win at your "home" track.
Also to Richard. After seeing all the trophys you took home Friday...I doubt you have room for another . :)
