so I want to go to bucket seats in out 1968 Dart .. to save weight..I found this and I was suprised how much weight could be lost..
the price to do it suprised me more..ha!

well. im looking for bucket seats..probally $100-$150 used

if I had $$$ I would just have a carbon fiber door car body made less lexan (spelling) windows ..135lbs for the 2012 carmao I think I read, and a tube chassis..but thats all powerball/mega millions $$$ ha!

I looked up curb weight on my 1986 caravan with 2.2 and 5 speed, 2910 lbs. with two - 75 lb. rear seats, bunch o carpet and a 100 lb rear deck, I want to section the body install a different roof and mid mount my slant in it.

I bought my used aluiminun seat with cover at the swap meet for $40.He wanted $40,I would have paid $100,so I offered $30.Just the way I am.Paid $40.00 and was happy.Mark

Yep I did the same thing - But mine was a used Plastic seat - for $20 at columbus Mopar show.
