Is there anything out there that will quiet a noisy belt? It is worse in damp weather. I have tried the belt dressing in a spray can, and it works for a day. Then the noise comes back. What is your favorite product?

A new belt...........


I've never got any noise from those 'notched/cogged' type belts.....

Before installing new belts, wipe down pulleys where belts run with something to de grease them such as lacquer thinner, brake cleaner, or carburetor cleaner.
