No "spray" for Mark yesterday... unless you count the N2O bottle, plate and lines he bought at the Sac swap meet they had there.
He may-be rethinking his N2O plans after seeing my car burn the tips off a couple of spark plugs, when it went low on fuel pressure.

Doc, I am not even going to re think it... MY fuel system is clean, good fuel pressure and no rust to worry about.
I wouldnt consider it if I was running a 49 year old rusty tank.I would expect problems and would deserve them, especially if I had a NEW tank sitting there. (Smiley face thingy) Guzzi Mark

OK... I deserve that...
You will be happy to know that I ordered a "cap assembly" and sending unit for that New fuel cell you gave me.
I have some work to do on the car before the Redding race.

Had a great time at the track. Lost to Wendy in the second round. We had nearly identical reaction times. I had her covered, lifted, but still broke out by .03. She was very close to her dial-in as well.

I would like to formally thank Mark for stopping by my house on Saturday and helping me with the 66. As well, he, Ed and Bruce helped me out on
Sunday. So guys, thanks a bunch, youre the best.

If anything, this sport will teach you to be humble. In taking my Dart to the engine builder yesterday (They were mystified why I was running only 15 seconds) to have an O2 sensor put in the header to test and determine the correct jets, they discovered that in hooking up my throttle linkage I had constructed it so that my hookup for the cable (on the throttle lever) was blocking the full action of the carb. They told me I was only getting half throttle. Duh. I'm humble not to mention sharp as a marble as Mark would say.

After putting in my Petronix II ignitor, all my ignition worries went away too.

So I am very excited to run with you guys and gals in Redding.

Sunday was a great day and Frank and I had a head to head race with close dial ins and we both redlighted but as I had the slower dial, he won of course. But that was a fun race, bumper to bumper all the way.
