Rockauto has decent prices and you can piece together exactly what you need.

I am a RockAuto fan, but I think I am going to try and piece things together from multiple sources. Picking up a compression tester from a friend today, so I'll have a better idea how far I need to go with the rebuild. Worst case I replace everything, Best case I Re-Ring, replace bearings and possibly rods(if damaged?),sundries(gaskets/seals), clean and reassemble. Won't know til I get there.

I just followed your story. How goes it so far? My 63 Dart 225 has just revealed to me a set of possibly similar circumstances, so I'm weighing my options on it right now, wondering exactly where I'll begin.

I am going to completely rebuild the 64 Dart GT engine(225), but replace it with another slant I have until I finish it.
