mid teens truck had been running good...would not start till gas pour in carb.....finally got it running....wont take throttle much over 2000 rpm dies, spits, sputters...remov foot off pedal idles fine..will go to about 2000.... thinking it the fuel pump...replaced fuel filter

Disconnect the fuel line at the carb and start the engine to see how much fuel flows-out of the line.
You could have some water (now ice) blocking the line / fuel flow.

had no gas ...so I installed an electric pump and new line....it runs now
