as of today feb 7, 2012
our Dart sits with a trashed out 904 no movement

I may not be operational for this race.

I have a good 904
but plan on up grade to a 200r4 or T5
and the $$ for that will be here until after the race date

there may be some change but these are the facts now.
will update any change

Sorry to hear that, Jon. If you have a good trans, why not drop it in and work on the 200 4R or T5 swap after M-D? 3 hrs for the trans swap???

BTW, I am looking seriously at the 200 4R for my new Valiant or maybe the '68 Dart. Heard some good things and Wilcap says several places make adapter plates although they are not listed on websites. SMR is one, Riley Auto is another... Haven't called them yet.

neither comp has an adapter.
I work in the dirt so it would take me more the 3 hours, I also have a trans brake for a 904, so i would want a $500 TQ also
deep pan/trans cooler /3/8's lines... no $$$ until after the race.

but as the weather warms I get antzy..you know like all of us.

You don't need 3/8" lines or deep pan for your car/motor. I still have 5/16" lines on all my cars. Maybe a cooler, but not sure I'd even do that.

The Wilcap guy insisted that lots of places (Trans Dapt was another) make these Slant/Chev plates. He said they used to make them, but gave it up since so many others made them. I need to make some calls...

Greg, I definitely want to get down there before, May. But March 18th may be too soon for me. I would need to go on a Saturday also. After I get back from the banquet I need to get the car in for an alignment, then a hundred small things. Then some shakedown runs. Let's talk in March!

Mason Dixon does not have one on the schedule... and 75-80 has no racing that weekend due to a Relay For Life event...

Oh well

I would love to come to a test and tune and work out the nitrous bugs...........that reminds me I need to start working on my nitrous again. Maybe they will change their mind and have a test and tune. I wonder how many cars they need to open for the night?

How about someone give the track a call and ask about a TnT on Fri of our slant race?
The first year I went, their was a lot of uncertainty about a TnT that Fri. It was unknown if there would be one, and the discussion, was may go to a different track for the TnT. I arrived early on Fri, and talked to someone (owner/Manager?) and was told they could do the Fri TnT.

Personally, I would like a Fri TnT at M-D. I am planing on more then one car, and a "Green" driver.

Their schedule says t'n't Sat 11-4 PM, then brackets 4 PM on. I agree it would be great to have a Friday night t'n't too. Maybe a post on Moparts or FABO to get a rollcall for other Mopar guys who want this?

Natural Bridge Dragstrip about 3 hrs down I81 from M-D has Friday night t'n't. This is 1.5 yrs from my house, on the way to M-D. Possibility for some??

I bet some of the other mopar weekend racers would partake in a Friday Nite TNT for the weekend..

CALLING RICK COVALT...

Can you call the track and see in Elmer W. Will consider adding this?

Natural bridge is a bit far to go out of the way for some of the PA / North folks.. But is is a great option for those coming up 81 :-)
