Been to three part houses and they are all trying to sell me the same gasket. It just does not fit my cover. I have a D-150 with a slant six motor I guess it is a 225 (3.7L motor) The cover has 4 holes with the tits facing inward on one side and the other side the tits face outward. Is this a big deal or am I just having a bad day.
Thanks,
Fran

What year is your slant. All valve covers from '60 to '79 are the same. Valve covers from '80 on are differant.

I just got one from NAPA, it is a Cork/Rubber the only thing I didn't like about it was the tabs didn't fit to well, other than that no problems.

"I called Pepbay and Advanced Auto"

unless your working on a rice burner, PepBoys is a place to stay away from, and Advanced ain't much better.
