So, I posted about this once before but this is a specific thing this time. My power steering has leaked since I got the vehicle, but tightening certain bolts kept the leaking down to a minimum. Well yesterday morning I went to tighten them and I tried tightening something else and the screw itself broke in two and the half that was plugging the hole fell out and so now there's a massive hole and it doesn't retain any fluid. My question is, is it bad to run the car with no power steering fluid? it's like manual steering, I guess, I just gotta put some effort into turning the wheel. But will it inflict major damage on my power steering? SHould I take care of it like NOW or ASAP or would next week be okay? Thanks for the info.

If you take the belt off the pump you could run it for a short period without damage.
Once all the fluid drains-out there will be no lubrication for the moving parts, at that point things will gull-up and/or seize.
