This is a cool trip. Gutsy to trust a sight unseen car, but cool.

Since you're on the road I'd suggest a case of water. Good for passengers and car alike in appropriate situations. What you don't use on the trip, you can use around the house. You also may want a fuel filter. I remember you can be far from service in Wyoming most of the time if you're on the interstate. Nebraska slopes 8 ft to the mile from the Wyoming border to the Missouri river. (Ask me how I know.)

It's good to hear that these two "road warriors" made it up to Woodburn safely...

Sorry about the wiper fix "miss" ... you should have wrote it item on the list we had.

Truth is... we could have spent another few hours on "prepping" that car but just ran out of time.
As is, we left for Paradise at 2:15 and still got stuck in bumper-to-bumper Bay Area traffic, for well over an hour.

Anyway... it was nice to see Rob and Chase again and it sounds like we have that Duster "squared-way" enough to get them thru a race & home.

I had two Napa bushings in the 'Fatpak' Duster's ashtray and it is now properly fixed...

Chase got to make runs yesterday and today...and slept much of the time in the duster (good car 'bonding time')....between chasing red lights today,
I think he needs more help from the Doc Dodge Drag Race Tech Support line. (That's 1-800-"Leave on the second Yellow"... )

It sounds like they will be in Halsey at CJ and Linda's tonight then will be heading off tomorrow. Good to see my 'battle buddy', and good to see a new duster owner...

You always have to "find" the redlight so you know exactly where it is...
It sounds like he found a few....
How red were they??
(Has to be better then the .2xx greens he was cutting)

Rob had to be on his good behavior, too far from home to get any help if he was his normal self.

I'm the same everywhere I go. I'm a food mooch! :D

And slant sixers have some good grub! Caroline, Doc, Kidd, DusterIdiot, and my personal favorite, getting chased by Dave while absconding with one of his burgers! It was a tasty burger Dave! :D
