What is the best and easiest way to remove paint from bolts?

(10) Bucket-full of Lye solution ( let them soak a few days)

I just wire wheel mine on the bench grinder.

I use child labor and a wire brush.

If the paint is still sticking to the bolt after 50 years, don't remove the paint.

It'll make a good base for your next coat of paint.......
