I have a 1964-65 A-body 833 that I pulled back in 1978, and have been saving. This tranny was two years only, short with the ball & trunnion. I've been thinking of selling it, but I thought I should find out what it's worth first. And what a better bunch of people to ask than the Slanters here. Anybody have an opinion on it's fair value? I already run an 833OD in my '66 Barracuda.

I am interested in this too. I may be getting one of these locally (SW VA)...

There was one on Seattle craigslist a month or so ago. I want to say it was in the $200 range?

The early A-body 4-spd with the ball & trunnion joint was only made for 2 yrs(64-65) so I thought it may gain some value with time. I see one on eBuy for $350, but I'll keep mine for that kinda price. Right next to the two aluminum blocks that still ain't worth much more than end tables.

Unfortunately, most people switch over to the slip yoke 66-up 833, so it's probably the reverse in terms of value. 2 alum blocks, you say?

Where are you located in MT? I may be out that way next summer.

North-east corner, by ND and Canada. Both aluminum blocks were already bored .030.
