Best thing you can do right now, IMHO, is help support (and drive for?) the E30/6 team!! We'll be out at CMP in the spring and maybe try for a ChumpCar at VIR next year too.

Lou

Lou,

I'd LOVE to help out and/or drive with ya on the Bavarian Bomber! :D

I just ordered my full gear set up like you did so I'll be ready when you call!

Duster is still sitting there wondering about its fate...

I think the 3 core members are pretty tapped for 2012, but I may ask him. Thanks for the heads up.

Lou

I took one step backwards to take two steps forward... Er sumthin' like that. :?

I pulled the K member out of the "Ruster Duster" and got a good look at how bad the front framerail is. I think a "Safe T Cap" will fix it just fine.

I'll post some pictures soon.

(No,... I haven't completely forgotten the priorities in life again! )

I needed the K member for something else and it had to come out anyway to be able to fix the framerail. The car will sit there on blocks until... umm,... until it doesn't!

Front K member bolt hole is okay.

Here's the worst of it. I think a Safe T Cap will work.

This kinda caught me by surprise!

I was removing the front suspension and I saw some grass fly out from behind the disc brake dust shield... I spun the rotor and saw this little guy staring back out at me.

He had to move out... :(

Maybe the groundhog will let him move in.

Don't be draggin' no critters up here with ya.

Besides Venable.

Nothing personal, but that frame rail scares me. I am going to try a Saf-T-Cap on the 340 car, but it is in the trans crossmember area.
