hi Barry here.i forget which way the thermostat goes?.cone shape out to rad.?or cone towards the block?this is highly embarassing but,oh well.i have to ask cause i do not want to blow the motor or somthin..thanks guys and God Bless.barry..ps..i have the cone towards the block right now.

Coil spring side towards head. Spring is what reads and reacts to temperature of coolant in head.

Spring/sensor into engine, "cone" looking part towards radiator..... :wink: Dont feel bad I've had those kind of moments also, all the sudden seem to be ate up with the dumb a&&. Altho lately it seems tho those moments happen more and more, than they used to... :lol:
