I've found a "champion" rebuilt carter bbd for sale for a reasonable price for the super six conversion I'm putting together.
Does anyone know if their rebuilds are any good? Any info or experience would be good.

Also, I'm in need of an air cleaner. Does anyone have one/know the best place to find one? Thanks.

Think the best place for air cleaners is your local autoparts store. Some are better than others if you do a search on this site you'll find a report that compares brands, and shows which let in more particles into the engine etc.

You don't need the biggest one you can fit, just an appropriately sized one.

You don't have to get the oil ones, or pod shaped ones.

I don't know about Champion sorry.

Thanks for the info! I was hoping to find a factory supersix cleaner, but maybe they're hard to come by.

I have heard mostly good about champion, I would not be afraid to give them the go. MO of course... Maybe someone that has dealt with them will chime in...
