I am going to order 3 of the large port Aussie Speed Intake/Exhaust gaskets to try. I will be glad to order some more if folks want them, but be warned they are not as thick as the Rem Flex and I am not sure how well they work. I am getting them to try and I will report back sometime next summer after I run it for a while.

Lou Madsen wanted one and it will be one of the 3 I am ordering above. If you want one let me know. Cost is $25 plus shipping from PA - to your location.

On a side note. Scott Marshall (CNC-Dude) is going to cut a prototype out of soft copper and see how that works. He has used them in high horsepower V-8 applications, so we may give them a try with our engines and see how they work.

If you are really looking for the thick gasket, them Rem flex will probably be the way to go. I may call them after Christmas and see if they will give me a discount on a larger quantity.

Merry Christmas to all!

Rick Covalt

I just ordered 2 manifold/hot box/exhaust gasket sets from GPRS. I e-mailed them and got no reply but he contacted me right after I ordered and said he was shipping today. Great service like they have always given me. The invoice says: "Currently we're dealing with 2 cancer patients 1 whom is terminal, as such there may be a delay in receiving your order we'll try to email you should this happen but we may not even be here with trips to specialists etc we apologize for any inconvenience in advance & hope you understand the situation."
That might be the reason for not replying to our e-mails.
Mike

I understand they have been going through that for some time. Glad you got your gaskets. But if I can't get any reply back, I can't do a bulk purchase from them. If 10 people want them it would be less time consuming for them to deal with one person than all 10 of us.

Thanks,
Rick

I like the idea of Scott making the soft copper. I have used them on my big blocks(exhaust) and work great and have reused them with no problem.I don't think that being both intake/exhaust that there will be any issues. :)

Romeo, I just have seen them being used on other engines with good results myself and just thought...why not give it a try. Rick is going to be sending me a template of the larger port sizes to copy, so once I get that i'll crank out a few sets for some R&D use for you guys to try out.
