I heard that my torque convertor could be causing my front seal leak..is there a way to tell?

Sure. Pull the trans and torque converter. Have the converter tested for leaks. You may be able to find a crack in the torque converter hub by visual inspection.

It sounds like the front pump bushing spun or it's worn-out.
Now is the time to pull the front pump for repairs.
Now is also the time to inspect all the friction and seals inside the trans. (rebuild)
The converter will also have to be repaired or replaced.

Sure. Scroll down to the pumps section THIS page and match your year and lockup or non-lockup.
