How much is an aluminum 2bbl super six manifold worth?

Just the intake? Welded two piece style? I paid $50 bucks for mine with a choke linkage and exhaust manifold and I wouldn't have spent more than that. They're known for vacuum leaks along the weld; most people just avoid them.

Eh, what can ya do now? Make sure you lay a few good coats of paint down on it before you install it. The paint can help seal/prevent any small leaks from the weld.
They are nice manifolds if they're not leaking--super light being aluminum and all. They just aren't highly desirable.
I think a one piece aluminum might exist too, I imagine it would be fairly desirable.

Would it be possible to make a solid aluminum one?

What do you mean? Like cast it yourself and such? I know very little about that process, but maybe someone else can chime in on that.

I user the aluminum manifolds several times, usually the ones around at this late of date are O.K. if in doubt give it several coatings on paint before installing believe it or not that used to cure most of the problems back in the day. I don't think you spent too much. Head to manifold is 10 to 12 very light torque re-do later after it warms up and cools.

A lot of early / mid eighties trucks have a one piece aluminum manifold.

If someone needs a 2 piece aluminum one drop me a PM. I have one on the motor I got out of the airport tug.
