Just got off the phone with Wilwood technical support. The man I spoke with was confident that the issue has to do with the master cylinder bore diameter and or brake pedal ratio. My problem is normal.

Recommended bore diameter for manual Wilwood discs is 15/16'' to 1'' and pedal ration should be 5.5:1 up to 7:1 Now I need to find my actual numbers.

He said this is normal and discs take more pressure and they perform better with power assist. He made it sound that this is even more typical for Mopars.

This information would have been nice before I did the conversion, I would have still done it. But then we wouldn't have this thread... Maybe there was some information in the instructions that I missed. I'm good at that.

In conclusion my car will be safer for all this. Nice thread DI, I will follow SSD's suggestions. And thanks Sprag I'll read Disco Tech, were on the right track

Cheers,
Barnaby

Resolved!

I switched to a 73 power disc master cylinder 15/16 bore diameter and bought the adjustable brake rod from Mancini.

The 73 mc has better fluid capacity than the old 69 mc

Went from awful to awesome!

Cheers,
Barnaby
