Ok i just got a 81 ram with a /6 and a a833 w/ OD what is the recomended lubericant for this... This being a older desighn trans i would assume some sort of gear oil but i have read post where they suggest Type F trans fluid??

80/90 gear oil works best, you can use ATF, but i find the 80/90 is better and its thicker so theres less wear and no gear crunch on fast hard shifts
