anyone have any experience in making them? any tips, pointers, things to look out for?

i was daydreaming earlier and the though popped into my head wondering how hard it would be and how much it would cost so i started looking into it. i looked on ebay and the carbon itself is not as expensive as i though. then i found these videos.

looks pretty easy, time consuming but easy. it has me thinking. i may make a batch of parts for my valiant. was thinking hood, trunk lid, bumpers, fenders and maybe a dash.

If ya ever have success with it, especially the carbon fiber part, let me know! I can think of all sorts of parts that could be replaced with carbon fiber!

if i do figure it out and my results are as desired i was planning on selling a couple pieces to recoup some money.

im more interested in shaving a couple hundred pounds off of my car though.
