Whoa I didn't realize this thread was that old untill I looked at the dates of the earlier posts.

Stainless steel headers would be cool, eliminate the need/hassle of coatings. Hmm I wonder if clifford can tell their manufacturer to use SS.

Morrow and I are batting this around, and he's willing to make one up for R& D purposes, I'd like to 'skunkworks' the thing for MPFI Hyperpak as 'The next step'...Since I have two dusters to work with, I can put the Feather down for the count to fit this item on and 'test it'.

If patrick or anyone has a cad drawing of the spacer so we can get one out and trouble shot that would help get the ball rolling. I don't want to step on any toes or steal anyone's 'baby' but if we all work toward this maybe we stand to benefit from the results, and I'm more than willing to 'guinea pig' the first one (been there, played with a carbed Hpak this shouldn't be too different when finished).

I'd like to use the Holley system simply for 'ease' and warranty purposes, it has press in injectors and weld in bungs, unless someone has a better injector to run (I think they are all almost the same with respects to mounting, though a thread in might be better...). Input on that would be nice, too.

Currently since I have a job, I'll be squirreling away parts for this conversion, and if all follows suit, sometime this summer when the work trails off, I'll have a couple months to 'play'.

another thing I'm looking at is the spacer might allow the use of 'dual duals' and a stock starter if you haven't converted over to the mini-denso unit yet, this might prove to be a plus for those guys like me who have a bucket full of them laying around and are too cheap to blow $50 for one when you have 10 spares for free.... LOL

we might have to move this to a new thread, and thanks in advance for any input to get this project squared up for everyone.

ya ive been thinking about it
im definetly going to need to either get an injector, or a DETAILED drawing of an injector, so i can work with mounting it at an angle and not hitting the studs. this could get tricky
btw after R&D i have lots of experience with production, so by the time this is fine tuned i can really set up a nice CNC production system to get these parts at a good rate. the machining SEEMS to be like it would be pretty straight forward, not a lot of tool changes.
