I was thinkin of gettin a cam reground to the Hyper Pak specs or maybe something comprable. Any suggestions? I may go with Isky or Shnieder or maybe even a local grinder, is there anything I should specificly ask or look for? Whats the rocker ratio for the slants? And finally could some people give me some cam specs that have worked for them, oh and the H pak specs too(i've seen them before but it was missing the LSA).

Not sure about the H pack but I am also on a cam search. The Mopar 268 p/n P4529342 is no longer available so I may do a custom grind myself. I was quoted $140 for a custom one. I did a search on this site and the .com site and I did find a thread on the 6 Pack factory specs. Check the .com site as well as here. I'll be watching this thread for answers.

Good Luck

You really can not recommend a cam unless you have a bunch of engine information.
Static compression ratio, head flow numbers Trans / converter type, rear end gear ratio and desired RPM "power range" are the key facts you need.
If you have this info, most of the cam grinders can plug the info into their computer and develop a grind that is best suited for the combo. *(Warning: use real values not "wish list" information, small changes in head flow and static compression have a big effect on cam performance with-in that combination. That is why the exact same cam grind can work great in one engine and be a "dog" in someone else's engine.

In general, a 225 SL6 likes higher lift and less overlap because of the small head port and long stroke. A lobe center in the 110 - 112 range is best for street performance not trying to rev over 5500 RPM.
As for the rocker ratio on a SL6, use 1.5 as a number but know that the factory arms can run a little less and should be checked and "sorted" so you can assemble a set that have about the same ratio.

I would like to mill the head .100"(or what is neccicary for 9.5-1), a 350 cfm Rochester 2gC, super six exhaust manifold with 2 1/4" exhaust(with short glasspack), 3.23 gears, and a 4 speed. The heads have been port matched and the exhaust cleaned up a bit. I would like one with a choppy idle(not neccicary tho)that will pull from say 2500 and up? I also need some 340 valve springs. Sorry I left out the engine specs  , I do alot of highway driving to, this setup is going in a 61 valient. Any help would be great, thanks.

I've heard very good things about the Isky 264 cam. Mike Andreas has it in his '65 Val with a similar buildup to yours and it rips pretty good and is very streetable.
