gettin ready to put exhaust on stock 65 dart slant, gonna run 2 1/4 to muffler as i might add super six, need advice on mellow sounding muffler. i want to hear it run but don't want to sound like idiot down the road either. would something like thrush welded be good choice. economical and a welded design???

Take a look at the red link below of mine.
It is very, very quiet! It took years to come up with this combination and lots of money wasted experimenting. A few others have tried it and like it! No more howl, or rasp, just a nice mellow sound at 2.5". It really helps on consistently good mileage.

That is a 18" Flow Master HP2 in front of a Flow Master 70 in the pictures.

Dynomax Super Turbo. It's not welded, but it's a great sounding muffler on a single system and not loud.
