do i need anything besides a gasket to swap out a tailshaft? i got a free 3 speed out of a 72 duster at a swap meet this past weekend. the tranny is shot but it has the boss on the tailshaft for the floor shifter. i want to swap the tailshafts. i have a 66 valiant with the column shifted 3 speed. im pretty sure they will bolt up just curious if im missing something.

also does anyone know where i could get said gasket. i can only find them for the 833. are they the same?

You can make one from sheet material or use a little RTV.
