70 swinger 225 AT,70,xxx miles after driving,notice six inch puddle of tannyfluid below where engine and trans connects.sometimes don't drive it too often.Front shaft seal ????

Very possibly could be the input seal. Also check the filler tube where it is inserted in the case. (O-ring) also there are seals on the shift and kick-down lever. If you remove the access panel at the bottom of the bell housing and find tranny fluid inside, then you are probably looking at a input seal replacement .

Guest nailed it. I call it a converter seal. Do what he suggests.
