I heard someone mention that this part existed for the 6 cyl dizzy. It may or may not have been Dan, but I have been searching all over because I thought someone posted a part number to buy a clear/ see through distributor cap, and I want one for my new cleaned up distributor for part of my turbo build. Was I mistaken, or does this part exist for the slant 6 distributor, and where can I get it?

In all my years of looking, I never found one of these for the Slant-6. No great loss; the transparent materials generally have much lower dielectric performance than the better grades of opaque material.

Yeah, but a clear dist. cap and a full set of six colortunes would be quite a cool light show.

Just drill a bunch of holes on the top and side and mount a coupla mirrors in the rotor with a few LED's on the baseplate, and you can have your own disco distributor..... great for those cruise-in nights!

That's unfortunate. I just felt I saw someone post it, and even had a part number to find it... oh well. I just thought it would be cool to have one, and let all those lights flash on the messy shadow side of the motor.
