I just bought a carter bbd on eBay not realizing it had a stepper solenoid. Can this carb be used in my '62 valiant? I'm doing a super six swap and had all the parts except the carb. If this carb can be used, how does the stepper get disconnected or removed? I can always resell it and buy a standard older style bbd or Holley if that's the best route. Any help is appreciated!

You will save yourself enormous amounts of time, money, and aggravation if you will get a correct non-feedback carb rather than trying to kluge this feedback unit so it kinda sorta works.
