Hey Guys, the Racing is over, at least until Spring rolls around, time to start talking banquet.

Pay out $$: If you have not yet chipped in and would like to, please send me a PM and I'll get you my mailing address. We managed not to collect any at Crossville or Clay City, not sure about the other races. Last year we had around $600 to divide between the top dogs. Would love to be able to do something for them again this year. I don't have the numbers in front of me but I know it isn't much.

Trophies: I am taking care of this year’s trophies (already have them almost done, actually) and am already scheming for next years, got an idea of what I'm going to do SO I'm asking all of ya'll to look through your busted engines, transmissions, trim parts, ... anything that came off a S/6 powered vehicle, example: cam shafts, chains, gears, push rods, planetary gears, clutches, things with unique shapes, small to medium size METAL parts that you would be willing to through in a box for me to rummage through (I can only steal so much from Rodney ) I don’t want anything that you could still use. I need well-loved (abused) parts.

I think we normally go for the weekend after Valentines Day, which would be Feb 20-22. (We are good with anytime other than March 6-8 ).

Okay I checked the balance after adding the money that was sent in. Current balance in $310.

We definitely need to start talking banquet dates. Other than the week that I'm out of town March 7-12 any date works for us. But I know several will have to make plans to take off from work etc...

So someone start throwing around some dates.

Checked with the Bruner's and the are thinking the weekend of feb 21 and 22.

That weekend suits us.

So if we have no Na Sayers by the end of the week do we want to go ahead and make reservations for the banquet room? If so who usually takes care of making them?

I am happy to make the big room reservation. Gary has done the "group rate" negotiation, IIRC.

Just spoke with Valley Forge. As of right this second they do not have our group rate figured out but HOPEFULLY will by this afternoon. Do we want a block of rooms all together or everyone specify as they book where they would prefer to be. (I know Sam and his family normally want a room by the pool, Meril prefers the ground floor, etc... ). I'd like to go ahead and us get the meeting room reserved. With The Island and its convention center being directly behind the hotel, it may be harder to get the booking in place if we wait too long.
