Super6, I don't think that is possible because of the small pipe extending into the oil filter coming out of the pump.

How about using a remote oil filter kit? My Jeg's catalog lists a couple different ones. It looks like it comes with everything needed. Single filter is $35 and dual filter is $44. The kit even uses a Fram PH8A filter.

I looked them up last night after I did the cam break-in oil change on my 318 Dart. The filter won't fit between the torsion bar and exhaust pipe on the bottom and I have to remove the coil to pull it out the top. The exhaust and coil placement seemed right when I was putting this together. Once I put on my really cool, ceramic coated, Spitfire headers I will almost definitely have to go to a remote filter. Hot rodding at it's best!
