77 volare AT supersix...Looking for my tranny not to shift so soon.Want it to hold each gear longer.Also want to automatically downshift with less pedal effort ...U Dig??? Can some of this be thru simple adjustments,or do I need some type of reprogramming kit ???

You need to adjust (lengthen) the kickdown linkage rod going down toward the trans from below your carb. Make sure you don't lengthen it too much and keep the throttle from going wide open.
